I was in the advertising industry before I started Tag ‘n’ Trade

I had limited experience in starting a new business but I had backing by many that had done it before.

Tag ‘n’ Trade is the newest on-line marketplace for selling a users new and used goods

Q. How long have you been running your business?

Tag ‘n’ Trade has been operational for 14 months

Q. How many hours a week do you work in your business?

Working on Tag ‘n’ Trade is a full time position

Q. What kind of online and offline marketing do you do and which is working for you.

Our Google Adwords campaign yields great results but you must always be engaging your audience.

Q. Do you use social media as part of your marketing?

Social Media is a must for any business to maximise their results.

Q. What mistakes have you made in running your business and what lessons have you learnt from those?

Too many to count, the mistakes are a necessary part of starting a business and will shape the person and future decisions you make.

Q. How has your website helped you run your business?

Our website is our business.

Q. What obstacles or challenges are you facing at the moment?

We are still trying to raise capital to reach a critical mass point sooner. We know we have the best platform and model compared to others, but raising the capital has proved extremely difficult.

Q. Any other comments / points you would like to share about running your business?

Never give up on your dream, it may take time and effort but it is always worth it.
