What is WordPress?

WordPress is a web-based software which you can use to create websites or blogs.  It is an Open Source project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it.  Wordpress started as a blogging system, but has evolved to be used as a full content management system and more through thousands of plugins, widgets and themes.  To learn more about WordPress, go to: http://wordpress.org

However, if all you need to do is learn how to edit existing pages or create new pages, watch the following free videos.  It is important to note that WordPress works with themes (website designs).   There are some variations between the different themes and how they are set up, but the basic features are the same.
